A 20-year study of more than 74,000 women in the Nurses Health Study has found church attendance significantly reduces mortality rates. Attending church more than once per week is associated with 33% lower all-cause mortality compared with women who had never attended religious services. Cancer and cardiovascular mortality rates were also significantly lower among the church attendees.
PositiveTip: The Bible says: "And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near" (Hebrews 10:25).
