Twenty-two cases of Salmonella Newport infections have now been linked to eating Caldwell Fresh Foods’ raw alfalfa sprouts.
Marketed under the brands Caldwell Fresh Foods, Nature’s Choice, and California Exotics, these sprouts are sold nationwide by many restaurants and food retailers including Trader Joe’s and Wal-Mart.
