Not All Low-Carb Diets are Equal

Data from two large prospective studies (Nurses’ Health Study and the Health Professionals Follow-up Study) strongly suggests that plant-based low-carb diets increase length of life compared to animal-based low-carb diets. Those consuming the highest amounts of vegetable protein and fat had 20% lower all-cause mortality and 23% lower cardiovascular mortality compared to those eating the lowest amounts.

PositiveTip: When looking at length of life, plant-based diets appear superior to animal-based ones.
