Male Circumcision Helps Prevent HPV in Female Partners

Randomly assigned studies of adult males in Africa have shown that circumcision significantly lowers the risk of HIV and hi-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) in men. Two studies in Uganda have demonstrated significant reductions in the rate of HPV in female sexual partners compared to uncircumcised men (28% vs. 39%). These male subjects were circumcised as adults, not babies.

PositiveTip: The Bible recommended circumcision before puberty. Abraham circumcised Isaac. Perhaps the world is beginning to recognize its value again?
