Keep on Walkin’

Data from the Harvard Nurses Health Study has found that physical activity and body mass index (BMI) suggests there is a specific gene pathway linked with cancer of the colon. Those who exercise regularly and have a lean BMI seem to upregulate this pathway reducing their risks. The Health Professionals Health Study shows that people who were active (150 minutes per week) before and after their colon cancer diagnosis had much better outcomes.

PositiveTip: Keep on walkin'. Exercise is a vital part of staying healthy.
