Internet Usage Now Equals TV Time

Forrester Research says that the average American spends 13 hours a week watching TV. That isn’t much different than it has been for years. However, internet use has also gone up to 13 hours a week — which is a 121 percent increase in the last 5 years. Where is that time taken from? Radio, newspaper and magazines. And it also often replaces physical activity and family time as well.
