E-Cigarettes More Popular

Approximately one in five U.S. adult smokers have tried electronic cigarettes. While e-cigarettes appear to have fewer of the toxins compared to traditional cigarettes, the long-term health impact of these newer devices is unknown. Tom Frieden, MD, MPH, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said, "There is still a lot we don’t know about these products, including whether they will decrease or increase use of traditional cigarettes.”
