Dominique Wakefield M.A., CPT
Dominique Wakefield is an Assistant Professor, Assistant Chair and the Director of Fitness & Exercise Studies in the Department of Nutrition & Wellness at Andrews University, Michigan. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer and approved instructor through the American Council of Exercise (ACE).
In addition to teaching at University, she has worked at fitness centers and the Cooperate Wellness setting for several years. Dominique is currently working on her 'Professional Doctorate in Health' through the University of Bath, England. Her studies and research centers on physical fitness and lifestyle change through exercise, nutrition and healthy behaviors.
She is actively engaged in Health & Wellness Ministries at Pioneer Memorial Church. She is the founder of Health & Fitness Professionals Association (HFPA), a network of health & fitness professionals within the Adventist Church. Dominique is a passionate, energetic and innovative health & fitness enthusiast.
